As part of the México Hospitality Expo, the leading event for the hotel industry in Latin America, CIDON Interior Design & Contract took part in the 6th International Wellness Forum, led by UNEX Director David Cámara Navarro. The forum featured a presentation by CIDON’s Co-CEO and co-founder, Manuel Corchado.
The event, organized by Fira Barcelona (HOSTELCO) and Expo Guadalajara, has become the new hospitality hub in the region, promoting a 360º approach that connects sustainability, design, and innovation. Within this framework, CIDON was invited as a speaker to share its strategic vision of Wellness—not as a “luxury label” but as a “meaningful experience, not merely the absence of discomfort.”
During his presentation, Corchado emphasized that wellness is not synonymous with endless spas or exclusive resorts.
“It’s a way of designing and outfitting that respects the guest, the environment, and the local culture—regardless of the project segment,” he stated.

CIDON advocates for a transversal vision of wellness, capable of being integrated even into more standard hotel projects through responsible materials, mindful lighting, cultural storytelling, and local identity. Its experience as a turnkey solutions integrator (construction, design, and FF&E) and as a procurement agent in leading sector projects allows the company to apply these principles across all hotel typologies, from resorts to urban hotels and boutique establishments.
With this approach, CIDON reaffirms its commitment to conscious design that goes beyond trends and seeks to create transformative, authentic experiences aligned with the evolving expectations of today’s global guest.
“At CIDON, we champion a vision of wellness that transcends aesthetics or fleeting luxury: we speak of emotionally meaningful spaces—living systems that adapt, evolve, and connect with the people who inhabit them. Integrating light, materials, acoustics, and culture is not just a design decision; it’s a way to align purpose, identity, and wellbeing. Our mission is to deliver real value to the sector by proposing an approach where the sensory, the symbolic, and the sustainable merge into a meaningful experience,” concluded Manuel Corchado.
