The renovation combines contemporary elegance with a deep respect for the building's historic identity, which incorporates remnants of the city's ancient Moorish wall. Our team worked to create warm, functional, and sophisticated spaces that reinforce the cultural essence of the destination, carefully curating every detail to offer a unique experience to guests.

Suites Posada del Patio

Restaurante Entremuros Málaga
The initial project, led by interior designer Alejandra Pombo, revitalized the guestrooms and public areas, highlighting features such as the central courtyard and the integration of the Arab wall—an exceptional fragment of Málaga’s history. At that stage, CIDON handled the equipment, logistics, and installation of the guestroom furniture, where natural woods and floral-patterned headboards stand out. The design reflects the hotel’s multicultural and historic essence while aligning with current trends, with a color palette of greens, blues, and pinks.
Since January 14, CIDON has taken over with a scope that covers both the interior design and the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) for the expansion of the suites and the renovation of the restaurant, including the works package, which has been delivered in two and a half months.

Built over the remains of the Arab wall and historical elements from different cultures, Vincci Posada del Patio offers guests an experience that bridges the past and the present. In this new phase, CIDON is shaping the suite design to evoke warmth, exclusivity, and a distinct character.
As noted by Alba Vila, Director of CIDON’s Design, Interiors & Works Department, the proposal is defined by a highly personalized approach: each of the 17 suites has been carefully studied to suit its unique structure and layout, ensuring a singular identity for every suite while preserving coherence with the hotel’s overall design.
With a color palette that brings depth in rust, greens, and blues, and materials of strong presence such as natural oak and walnut, the rooms convey a sense of welcoming elegance. The team moves away from the floral aesthetic present in other areas of the hotel, opting instead for non-floral patterned textiles and decorative elements in rattan and bamboo. Each suite includes thoughtfully integrated lounge areas, creating a cozy and functional environment that makes the most of the generous spaces.

In the restaurant, CIDON is implementing a comprehensive renovation with a concept where style meets utility. Warm tones—such as rust—will be applied to ceilings with moldings and coffered panels, bringing structure and visual order. Antiqued mirrors add depth and elegance, eliminating the visual overload of patterned wallpapers.
In the café, a new back bar unit will feature a brass finish that highlights the central bottle display, complemented by a custom wine cabinet and a baldachin-style awning to create a more intimate atmosphere. A large communal table, paired with an interlaced-design statement lamp, will anchor the space—practical and full of character.
With a strong track record in hotel FF&E and fit-out, CIDON ensures every detail embodies design made to be lived.
